We Are Thankful

Our first year as husband and wife at Thanksgiving! We spent Thanksgiving up in Portland at Aunt Jane and Uncle Bill's house.  Cousin Ian was visiting from TN so that was fun! Jared & Jessica came up and Bill's son's were also there.  We had a very yummy meal and then helped Jane & Bill put up the outside Christmas lights since Bill was out of commission due to shoulder surgery.  I am really loving this blogging thing since...since I need to take a TON of pictures for the blog Jeff understands that my "help" is now limited LOL.

Today we were at Mom & Dad's for our Thanksgiving with them. Both grandma's were there, Stephanie and Auntie Mel & Uncle Jerry.  Mom made YUMMY food as always and we had a dessert smorgasbord!! Gunner was one lucky pup and got ice cream and whipped cream from Grandpa (he was in heaven!!).  Madison got to open her birthday present from Grammie and Grandpa (not sure who liked it more Madison or Stephanie & I LOL).  

At the dinner table this month we have been all going around saying things we are thankful for.  Here is just a few: 

Having a roof over our heads. 

We are thankful for all of the men & women that are serving or have served for our country.
